Besides accumulating records and trophies, he kept an average of 2.189 points per game in regular season and 2.045 in playoffs.
He participated three times in the Memorial Cup (1969-1970, 1970-1971 and 1972-1973) and won it in 1970-1971.
He also won the Governors trophy (regular season champion) three times, in 1969-1970, 1970-1971 and 1972-1973. He won the President Cup (playoff champions) in the same years.
On February 5th 1971, he established three records in the QMJHL and in the CHL, still unbeaten to this day:most points in a game with 12 (3 goals and 9 assists), most assists in a game with 9, and most assists in a period with 7.
Moreover, for the 1972-1973 season, he received the Jean Béliveau trophy (leading scorer) and the Michel-Brière trophy (most valuable player). He was named on the 2nd all-star team in 1970-1971 and on the 1st all-star team in 1972-1973.
Information on his professional career He had several successful seasons in the NHL playing for the Boston Bruins, the Buffalo Sabres and the Nordiques de Québec. Former general manager with the Montreal Canadians, he now acts as assistant general manager , besides being general manager for the Hamilton Bulldogs, the Canadians’ school club in the American Hockey League. He was inducted into the QMJHL Hall of Fame on Wednesday, April 6, 2005.
